It’s important to remember that I am not labeling the children as reactionary. This is about the contest itself and how an image like this was one of the best. This also demonstrates the effects of war on children and how propaganda shapes young minds. It’s truly disturbing. The Twitter account that posted this is OlgaBazova (they post a lot about the war but are also super anti-LGBTQ for some reason).

Couldn't they pick one that didn't look like it was drawn by Hitler youth? Why did they have to pick one with a screaming and surrendering Russian Orthodox church being shot drawn on it

The theme is the invasion of Kursk, and this drawing unfortunately fits it. I wonder what the others look like, but alas I don’t have an Instagram. I honestly don’t think they care if it looks Hitler youth-y because they support it and know nobody in the west will care or see how this is a huge problem. Maybe they see it as just deserts.

    super anti-LGBTQ for some reason

The reason is that fascists are always anti-LGBTQ. They'll use queer people as a shield and feign tolerance with gritted teeth, sure - that's what they've been doing in Ukraine all along. But the moment they can afford it they'll show their true colours.
