Call me a downer, but this is exactly why I think that voting is essentially pointless.

No offense to the socialist trying to get on the ballot, but the fact of the matter is that the amount of money the billionaires have will always shadow the amount of money that we give to progressive candidates.

Even if we gave a billion dollars to socialist candidates, the billionaires would just give ten billion dollars to their candidates.
