And there's global free leech while signups are open

FearNoPeer is a private tracker that focuses on movies and tv shows, although there is some additional content. They offer freeleech and are friendly towards new members.

Thanks for sharing! Seems decent for e.g. TV shows.

Where on the site does it state the global FL? I can't see it, and it seems that my first downloads were actually counted, and affected my ratio a bit.

On the homepage, fearnopeer.com, there is a section titled, "Featured Torrents = Free Leech and x2 Upload Credit". They have an assortment of mostly movies and a few show episodes marked as featured.

Thank you. I saw that. But the post reads:

And there's global free leech while signups are open

What you're describing doesn't sound like global.

Ah, I didn't post the global freeleech portion. I think that I because I crossposted a previous post from this community regarding the same tracker and same topic, and the original post had that comment. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh, I see. That makes sense. I've just grabbed a huge bunch of 6+ months old small-sized uploads to earn a load of bonus points over time, so that I can later buy some GB of upload to recover the ratio :P

That’s fair! I’d recommend grabbing some of the featured freelech, even if you don’t want it for yourself, just because it’ll help with your ratio to seed that a few times when the download is free.

Also, they sent this message out the other day: “Torrents that are at least 40GiB are now automatically added to free leech.” So you could browse by file size, grab some large files and seed those.

I can register, but when I try to login, I am getting an error saying the credentials do not match their records. Tried to test the password a couple times but the error is still there.

Is there a focus on any specific codecs (i.e. x264, x265/HEVC, AV1) and are there any internal groups? Unique aspects of a tracker are good to know before deciding to join.

It seems to be a bit more of a generic tracker than most knows ones. Movies, TV, also Games in there.

Size wise it seems to be close to Aither which is very impressive for such a young tracker.

What's unique is lack of, HnR. Only ratio 0.7 required as far as I checked.
