I don't think the child is in physical danger. Based on the rabid verbal abuse it's also possible she is being physically abused too, but it is "stable" in the sense that this has probably been going on for a long time. I do think I could probably text my landlord without evidence per se and not be doubted, as I've been a pretty good and communicative tenant. No idea why she would think I was lying.
