The NSFW filter serves a real purpose for community members which is completely undermined by using it as a joke on your 'posted hog' post, anyway I'm pretty sure I just saw a dead body that I didn't want to see because I was 100% certain the NSFW filter was being used as a joke.

EDIT: a suggestion by @chantox is to add a "spoiler" tag that allows people to make their memes without diluting the usefulness of NSFW/NSFL/CW tags. Sounds like a great way to allow us to have our cake and eat it too.
