I think we can do away with the version numbers, it is more of a continuously developping project of trying to kill off the bad half of humanity and then steal their shit.
Don't you know? It's only a World War if Europe is at war. Israel and the US can be at war with half a dozen countries and that's just business as usual!
How many independent conflicts intersecting with various allied factions need to exist before it constitutes a World War, I wonder.
