    White fisherman in Nova Scotia keep fucking with First Nations fishers.

    I feel rather low solidarity with such people. Farmers too frankly.

      Absolutely, there are lots of reactionary fishermen, such as those in Nova Scotia. But it's a very diverse industry, where every fishery is different.

    IIRC isn't it like the single most dangerous job in the US? But also at the same time commercial fishing is really destructive and bad for the environment in its current incarnation, so critical support I guess.

      According to this it is second only to logging. And it definitely depends on the fishery. Some are quite destructive, but others are relatively sustainable
