      I see it more as:

You're portraying yourself as this vast, armed, menacing popular front ready to demand Trump remains in power... and you stopped to get a cup of coffee on the way?

All the times I've been to Starbucks was because I had a crush on the person who invited me. That coffee is expensive and it's not even that good.

The few times I've gone into a Starbucks not on a college campus, the customers seemed to mostly be either older corporate types or the stereotypical "tactical" chuds like in the picture. I don't know how Starbucks became known as a hipster millennial thing, most of the millennials I know who drink coffee either make their own at home, or buy it at a local coffee shop or convenience store.

Tbh, people probably saw teenage girls on social media having harmless fun with their friends and decided they had to hate it.

They need a reason to blame Millenials for being poor that doesn't involve criticising daddy capitalism. So they started to assume Millenials are struggling because they buy expensive coffee instead of saving.

Yes, that's the world boomers live in, where not buying Starbucks coffee saves you enough money for a house. That's how much they fucked the economy.

Never mind that Millenials are the more likely not to eat out and are more likely to eat cheap food. The only coffee I drink is shitty instant coffee that I make myself and even instant coffee from the supermarket makes me raise an eyebrow at how expensive it's getting. Fuck this economy, it just keeps getting worse and worse.

Wow I did not intend for that to be an unhinged rant but fuck it the world sucks right now lol.

I mean like, they're people, they can drink coffee. Are they supposed to drink from a thermos or else we make fun?

It’s just funny to see because chuds (maybe not the people pictured specifically but people like them) associate Starbucks with effete, liberal, city dwellers

I guess I haven't been paying attention to chud grievance culture that much. It makes sense now that I think about it -- last time I was at the gun range the guy doing sign-ins pointed at my coffee cup and said "is that one of them lah-tays?"

I mostly make my coffee at home, but I was under the impression that pretty much everyone stops at Starbucks if they're in a hurry and need shitty drive-thru coffee. What do conservatives drink?

Gas station coffee is my elixir. It is also my excuse to wake up every day at 6-6:30 AM to get two coffees for me and my wife. The first coffees me and wife drank were at a 7-11 after a Dead Can Dance concert.

For me coffee is 90% nostalgia as I only drink one cup a day now instead of 1-2 pots before I retired. Coffee is very telling of a person I've found. The more convoluted the coffee order the more likely they are an asshole. Me and wife drink coffee black, always have, and always will.

Throwing a fit if it's not just right is a sign of being an asshole. Otherwise, having a preference is just having a preference.

Some of us don't even throw a fit when it isn't right.

Folks who order a coffee drink that takes 5 steps just want to be seen ordering a coffee drink with 5 steps.

Nope, we got a few, but Starbucks is fairly ubiquitous compared to everything but Dunkin' Donuts

Does McDonald's in the State's serve coffee? I know here in Canada almost every one has a McCafé attached, and is almost always the best value coffee around (imo far better than timmies)

Yeah, but there's a definite stigma on McCafé being "low-class"

Which just makes it funnier that the Chuds haven't embraced it as like the Western Chauvinist's coffee

Weird, just looked into it and McD seems to be the most popular coffee in Canada, while its ranked fifth in the U.S

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the "Hot Coffee" lawsuit might have anything to do with it.

But yeah, it's funny how the Coffee that is embraced by Chuds are so often gifting operations serving poor, overpriced coffee (Black Rifle etc.)

I think someone could write about how Coffee became the first, dumbest, front of the American corporate culture war.
