Seriously though, is there any reason to disallow colored pencils in a pencil sharpener? I can't think of any problem they might cause.
The pigment bit in the colored pencil has a waxy base that will build up and jam/get stuck in the sharpener. Graphite doesn't. It can be used as a lubricant in some
non sexysituations.
I think the sign means coloring pencils, not colored pencils. Come on OP don't play dumb
