Writing a list of demands that are completely incompatible with capitalism and starting it with "Reform not revolution" is like writing a to-do list where the first item is "immolate self". Nothing else on that list is getting done, idiot.

I mean, "internationalism and trade" is probably going to happen. Also, fun facts, she also thinks we should stay in Afghanistan so that'll definitely be happening as well.

Broke: staying in Afghanistan for nation building Woke: staying in Afghanistan to implement socialism

(yes I'm fine with socialist imperialism and no I will not be taking questions)

To be fair, there is likely to be a major revolution somewhere in the global south soon, and these Jack knobs can ride those coattails in the imperial core and take all the credit. The most likely scenario for the US imo, since this is hellworld after all

White wine glasses for non-aromatic whites - so not Chardonnay. Wine mom glasses. Also used for mimosas. Double trouble

I like you. Is there any significant difference between a Champagne Flute and a Prosecco Glass or did I unnecessarily buy two different sets?

They could also be badly drawn champagne tulips though.

Well Prosecco/sparkling rose glasses are tulips. Tulips have more surface area for the aromatic varietals. Wine moms drink these out of fake wine glasses, but if you’re into wine, you would want to have a glass for aromatics and a flute for champagne as they will taste different and hit the palate different.

If you bought a vintage champagne flute that looks more like a bowl or cocktail glass, you are bourgeoisie swine and get the wall because you don’t need that unless you’re spending hundreds of dollars on each bottle...

I didn't get the one modeled on Marie Antoinette's boobs, no. I checked my picture of my collection and I have to correct myself I only got the Prosecco glasses and was wondering if it's better to have gotten the Champagne flutes instead, both in this catalogue on pages 148-149. The Prosecco glass just looks like a flute that was accidentally vertically squashed a bit and I always wondered if it was better to go for the other or why there are two such similar shapes. I'm actually into cocktails and whisky so I have Glencerns, tumblers, colinses and I know they are actually bad but I like their shape martini glasses. The wine stuff i have for my friends who prefer wines (One set of Bordeauxs and one of the white wines ones from the same page). People here take wine pretty seriously so you have to be prepared. What is very filthally bourgeois of me is my collection of shakers and muddlers and strainers etc. I can share pictures if you want lol.

Why do you know so much about stem- and glassware? That's pretty cool.

Please, for the love of God, teach these people what the term "Social Democracy" means so they can stop with their "Socialist" cringe shit

They already ruined the term “social democratic”, isn’t that enough? Lenin would be spinning in his grave, if we hadn’t turned him into a freaky madame tussauds attraction

Now one more time. "Social Democrat" loosely translates to "Murderer of Rosa Luxemburg". Any further questions?

Don't say the c socialist slur if you aren't a rich radlib. You have no history of oppression behind that label and it's not your place to reclaim it :)

I mean, earlier in the chain she said the bombing of Yugoslavia was justified, in defense of Bernie, which is a decently common opinion. I don't think it has to be a bit.

For that reason I'm of the zizek school that all bits are bad. Irony is inevitably co-opted. I'm not sure if the bits here work either because the irony hasn't had enough time to poison the space or because the culture is mostly earnest and rarely ironic.

This could also be a chud on some agent provacateur bullshit, in which case mission accomplished. But if it's a dirtbag I wish they'd post better cause this shit doesn't help.

I am once again asking the succdem reformists to read State and Revolution. :lenin-shining:

I don't have a twitter, do me a favor and post links to the marxists.org page in the thread: https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1917/staterev/

Side note: we should still encourage them to ditch the Dems and try to party-build outside the reach of capitalists but for the love of god they need to adopt a revolutionary approach or else they'll turn into a magnet for fucking Blairites.
