            idk if you're just memeing but there were actually people like this in the early united states, they were so racist they wanted to abolish slavery so they could deport all non-white people.

      I was a lib in Portland, their DSA is extremely active and aggressive. The one meeting I ended up going to is what finally radicalized me.

      i think it's cuz it is one of the few cities on the west coast where you can still get by on a basic service industry wage; it still has a radical working class

      portland has a history of deep rooted community groups building solidarity with each other, something a lot of other cities are missing
