Jeez. Just replace the keynote with a web page that lists specs, features, etc so I can decide whether I want to buy your product or not.

7 full years of OS updates sounds pretty promising. Swap out the battery a few years in and this phone could last a while yet. Pretty impressive.

Oh they do? That's great news, nice to see. I'll have to keep that in mind when the Pixel 9 launches when I'm looking for a new phone.

Any news on older Pixel devices having a price reduction? Has that been the case in the past maybe? I haven't ever payed close attention near a new device launch.

They usually get discontinued. But the 6a did get a reduction in price tho. So maybe the 7 pro would get a reduction?

pixel 8 is underwhelming to say the least

that stupid widget they put on the main screen that you can't remove, or move is absolutely the worst the fingerprint sensor is garbage compared to my S22, so many repeated attempts to unlock face unlock is absolute trash and almost never works adding a 2nd account on the phone and switching between the two causes the launcher to completely lock up necessitating in restarting the phone or switching back to the other account the picture quality is not on par with the S22, not by a long shot

i f'n hate samsung and all their bloatware so i made the jump back to pixel again and now i'm regretting it

Looks like a nice incremental improvement. I know we weren't expecting it, but I really hope to see satellite functionality. Maybe next year!

Satellite messaging would be a killer feature worth the upgrade.

      how is this incremental?

it has way brighter screen, longer lifespan, better haptics, better performance (which will help it stay usable for 7 years), and it still has partnership with ifixit so you can replace batteries by yourself
