Every time i read something like that i remember a joke:
Airplane disaster of a century! A small plane crashed in the cementary of town XXX. So far, over 900 bodies were recovered and the rescue services are still finding more as we speak.
Don't forget, the plane crashed because the sneaky Russians planted a bomb on it.
If i had a cent for every "Stalin ordered" i've read, id have a whole lot of cents.
i thought it was well known small scale imsurgency continued years after the civil war officially ended in central asia? i mean obviously the new nationalists wanted to make them martyrs but i don't buy it being surprising or particularly secret lol
