Went to watch the next generation before bed and it won’t pull up any of the episodes or continue where I left off. Instead it shows the extras tab and related shows and about.
I hope that they put them all back on pretty much any other platform so I can unsubscribe from that garbage service. My BF still watches Netflix sometimes so I haven't gotten rid of it, sigh. Put it back there please. That was the only thing I used Netflix for.
Screw netflix and the others. For like 5 moneyz a month you could go sonarr. Enter "star trek tng", wait. Watch on your own machine in the quality you prefer. You only need to be a bit tech-savvy and it's only a one-time-work-investment. You will never go back.
Streamio is really good too (my sister in law uses it for everything). I think it is free too and the interface is really professional for what is essentially a torrent tool.
If it's torrent-based, then it would be suicide to use it where I live. Torrent without VPN = instant regret :)
The problem with it is that it hides a little bit too much how illegal it is. It's kinda good that torrenting is not absolutely one-click easy to access, because then people are actually more likely to understand what they're doing.
I think most people who install it know full well what they are doing and simply install it because it makes things a lot easier. They only reason I haven't done it myself is I can't be bothered atm.
If you are searching the internet for an application that lets you view just about everything for free, then you are well aware that you are sailing the high seas of piracy.
But think of Paramount's profit loss! Oh no we might not get more star trek prodigy oh no!
Update: it’s back to normal but it still scared me 🤣 any idea why it wouldn’t let me watch for a certain amount of time?
why do you let a corporation control whether or not you can watch something? don't use paramount+ or any other DRM-locked service. Sooner or later they will take it away, and there's no guarantee you'll have access to it if you don't have your own copy.
