I've been taking a break, but recently came back to finish a Fortress farm I had been constructing. It took a while and there is still potential with some spawnproofing and an item sorting system.
To find it, go into nether from main city portal, climb ladder up to the new hub, and boat (or walk?) the northern ice highway. The highway will turn west after like 1000 blocks. Remember to bring a good sword with you.
If you ever find a place in the nether where there is a lot of nether brick slabs placed, you've probably found the farm. Please do not remove them. They are there to spawnproof the area. Thank you.
I'll tell some funny history about the farms construction.
Basically the location of the farm was perfect, even too perfect. Spawnproofing the fortress in the 1st days of the project was intense survival. Blazes spawned non-stop. I got my ass whooped many times.
