At least 24 journalists have been killed since October 7, most of them by the IOF. Israel does not want witnesses to the genocide it wants to commit and is committing in Gaza.
Quote from the article:
The controversy began earlier this month when Jama, 29, posted a statement on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, that called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza as well as an "end to all occupation of Palestinian land."
She focused largely on the Palestinian territories, saying "violence and retaliation rooted in settler colonialism have taken the lives of far too many innocent people." She did not directly mention the Hamas attacks.
Plenty of people are standing up to Israel during their ovations.
In anything approaching a sane world everyone from the guy who did the killing up to the PM would be arrested and tried for obviously purposely retaliating against a journalist. Executions handed down swiftly for all of the officers and those high ranked politicians in charge like Netanyahu. But no one will even remember this in a couple days. What a disgusting world. The leadership in Israel and the IDF has probably earned a solid thousand individual war crimes related executions in the span of a couple weeks. They're really trying to speed run outdoing Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Powell/Rice, et al. on the most war crimes committed in the shortest span of time.
Sad to hear. I cant imagine the grief. All of what happened will be preserved for the trails that will follow after the apartheid, when all of Palestine will be free.
Cowards using bombs to kill civilians. Cowards suppressing free speech with murder.
Wonderful to see the "westerner" part of the middle east showing those in the region what they mean by "civilized".
