I really like wholesome comments from cool people I've interacted with and I don't mind seeing bigotry if I can use it as proof to get bigots banned from coms so someone more vulnerable won't have to see it. I do mind if it's allowed by the platform choosing not to do anything about it though.

Holy fuck. Why are so many nurses so vile? I had nurses cover me in a pile of extremely warm blankets in a room heated to the highest temperature to a point where it felt like I was having a stroke and were ignoring me telling them how much the temperature hurt. Or nurses leaving in clearly wrongly put in venflons with 0 things scheduled for injections, leaving me in pain, unable to use an arm. I developed a severe phobia of venflons thanks to this. :/

I don't have Tyra's forehead. I have a widowpeak with the sides going deeper in like a stereotypical depiction of Dracula.

As someone who had* a long haired, thick-coated cat who lost a lot of fur at all times, I used to think so as well, but I met my coworker's cat who doesn't lose fur practically at all, so I think it depends on your cat's body.

• The cat is still alive and fine, but I cannot afford enough space for her to reside in nor even afford her food and so on, therefore she's not with me.

I find the trends of sheepishly hating something just because it's trendy to extremely telling about the state of people's minds and their (lack of) autonomy.

E.g.:

• hating Justin Bieber
• hating Miley Cyrus

(Both of above largely correlated with their gender nonconformity at the time which seemed to be backed by homophobia)

• hating Nickleback
• hating tribal tattoos

There's more, but this is from the top of my head. I also remember people hating on basically any big musician, like Imagine Dragons. I don't believe any of these are genuine, because I've never seen these people giving any reasoning, if not brief "they don't conform to societal standards enough!!!!".

Here are my distro recs:

For people who want good looks out of the box: ZorinOS (also has a special install for older devices and I consider it very user friendly for ex-Windows users, to a point where I installed it for some non-tech people and it didn't need me to do any work since)

For people who don't like the idea of using a terminal, but want a rolling release: openSUSE Tumbleweed

For people who like terminals, want to yay, want a rolling release distro, and want to say they use Arch: EndeavourOS (my fav and current use, very simple to use, no issue distro)

For people who want a big corpo behind their distro: Fedora

Ironically, I had more experiences of conservatives/trads being respectful to me, while "progressive" capitalists would admit to seeing the groups I belong to as lesser in a condescending indirect way. Or sometimes just being straight up hyper xenophobic or racist without any self-awareness on their part. Many progs think you can only be xenophobic/racist to black people and are extremely happy being racist to brown people, Asians, white people with dark hair and eyes or Slavs. I had people tell me the ethnicity I am 50% is alcoholic aggressive thieves. Yes, sure, there are such people who happen to be of this ethnicity, as there are such people of different ethnicites, theirs included, yet they don't speak of those as defining their ethnicity. It's so fucking weird.

I'm yet to meet an European who isn't a capitalist who identifies as a leftist. European leftism is capitalists who won't immediately execute gays, unless too inconvenienced, and may even see immigrants as not this much less of humans and only are racists to the brown and Slavic.

This is a weak statement to me, because many people think anti capitalism is capitalism with some social programs like healthcare.

They just admit they don't care about people suffering and dying under the current system.

I never bothered with reviews for anything, but was shocked to learn some media which I loved which had a big impact upon my life-long tastes had bad reviews, i.e. Van Hellsing (the movie), which makes me think even less of reviews.

And products which I know are unfinished trash with tons of bugs, or severely underdeveloped mess with trashy devs, get really good reviews and get you attacked if you ever dare to mention any issues, as if you personally broke into their office and sneakily programmed the bug yourself.
