  • homie if you insist on taking your feelings about the bullshit you're going thru at your job and funneling it into this emoji thing, and you think anyone here disagreeing about the emoji is the same as shitting on your real life situation, I don't really know where to go from here

I hope you dont take this the wrong way, i say it with peace and love -- you gotta take a step back and see this for what it is. something I learned thru my years of doing political actions and work is that using your time outside of those fights to vibe is so much more effective than using it to shadowbox people on your side. Not every aspect of your life has to be a battleground

  • All these Jewish comrades/other comrades in the thread saying why they aren't cool with this idea, citing their real world experience as why, and you think WE are the ones not taking YOUR experience into account?

Are you picturing everyone else here but you just living in those star wars tanks when they aren't posting?

  • Got a reply in the thread this am, he changed his mind about talking to me I guess. It's too crazy to not share, it hits every trope:

"There are absolutely no trans people being vilified right now. In fact they're extremely celebrated and have everyone like yourself, getting overly offended on their behalf when someone says anything even remotely negative about them. I have trans friends and am actually talking to one right now to try and hookup, cuz she's very hot. I'm a little frustrated lately cuz I'm not allowed to ask questions about it to anyone and have been called a transphobe for fucking weeks now everytime I try to understand a little better and try to learn what to expect. Its one of the only things we're not allowed to ask questions about without being called some kind of name and having accusations made about us. And I just find that extremely weird and annoying. That right there is the reason why so many people are resentful towards this whole movement, cuz I'm very tolerant but over these last few weeks I'm starting to build up my own resentments simply cuz of how I'm being talked to by others for wanting to know more. And in the future, if you wanna be taken seriously, maybe don't try to make your point by starting out your comment with name calling, cuz it automatically puts the person you're talking to into defensive mode and it just escalates into an argument instead of a reasonable convo between adults. It's a childish way of making your point."

The general idea behind "leave no trace" is that ecosystems and biomes are very fragile, and everything we do, bring and leave behind when we go into nature fucks them up. Some stuff, like chemicals from soap or micro trash plastics, do even MORE harm than stuff like apple cores or your morning shits

Basically, you want to act as close to the time travelers from "sound of thunder" as possible
