I have not used Neo Store though i have heard good things. I like droid-ify and have used it in the past.

It will recognize your apps once they get one update and then they will begin auto-updating again like they were. But fdroid itself is increasing its Android versions to catch up. I think it's targeting Android 10 or 11 now when it was targeting like Android 6.

If you do end up having to wait until you get a new phone, you could disable Google Play Services and the Google Play Store, and that would help quite a bit.

Interesting information, although I'm not the one best suited to process it, I would recommend you posting this to something like the skepticism Sunday threads on !monero@monero.town. If it truly has been broken, they are managing to keep it very quiet. And if it has been broken, then there's a good chance that the vast majority of encryption has also been broken, such as HTTPS.

Then why aren't they catching more "criminals"? Also, why hasn't the $600,000 US dollar bounty from the IRS been claimed?

As annoying as it is not being able to really exit to a main internet from I2P, I think they have the right idea by not allowing exits. Though it does most definitely have an impact on how many people are able to use it.

You can't. The only way to use these assistants is not to use them. "More private" does NOT equal "private". Either do not use them at all or be conscious of the fact that you will not be private while using it.

Edit: mycroft maybe the only exception to that and that's only because it's open source and according to what most people think of as a digital assistant would not be ready.

Some do, but I'm not aware of many of them, especially not on the home side. Some of the more business-style routers I know do, and some home routers do. But to my knowledge, most home routers do not.

Oh, one other thing you may consider doing. Put your network on five gigahertz only and disable 2.4 gigahertz entirely because 2.4 gigahertz goes farther so somebody could try to hack your network from a physical longer distance away. Whereas on five gigahertz they would have to be physically closer to do so.

Well, I can't help you much with what router to get, but one thing I do is use ControlD.com free DNS. They have several levels of blocking you can do for free. You can do no blocking at all, you can block known malware, you can block known malware, and advertising, or you can block known malware, advertising, and big social media. Since this is on the router DNS setting, it will apply to every device as long as it is on your network. And then you can also set it up on your Android or iPhone so that when you are on mobile data, it also keeps the same level of blocking.
