Are we counting like Ares and Limewire? I just wanted to listen to music and could never pay it. That turned into software I wanted but couldn't buy. Then I stopped for a while and started up again years ago not wanting to pay for streaming
Same boat, I get paid tomorrow and will have a few spare bucks after that, lemmy.zip deserves it!

Find a hobby you can continue after you're allowed outside again.
Like tech? Start tinkering with things. Find cool projects and see if you can create on your own; if/when you get stuck, start reading online and figure it out.
Watch stand up comedy. Makes you feel good to laugh, and can pass the time easily inside.
Start reading a book like the other guy said. Again, good for your brain and can even learn something from it.
Seems like you really just need to find yourself a new hobby and stick with it, otherwise you'll still be bored after you're sick.
Showing like that for me as well. Haven't found a setting to mess with, maybe they'll update and change it back.
Adam Ray, Tony Hinchcliffe, Mark Normand, Kam Patterson, Ari Shaffir
Edit: almost forgot Shane Gillis
You would probably enjoy Overseerr
If anyone uses sync, there's a setting to hide the PipedLinkBot posts
In my opinion, you should be running everything as a docker container. I would first get Plex running to learn, and expand from there; Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr, Overseerr, torrent client, etc.
For resources and documentation, Spaceinvaderone on YouTube is great (older but still relevant), and I also enjoy IBRACORP's videos. As for text based, TRaSH Guides are basically defacto.
Currently have everything in a Node 804 sitting on a shelf in the office. Will be racked soon, along with everything else, to save space. Nothing too crazy
Hardware:
Services:
Plex, Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr, Deluge, Overseerr, Tautulli, PMM, Homarr, plus a few other random ones I mess around with.
Running all services through docker integration in Unraid OS.
Not sure how to stream them all, but for local teams and nationally broadcasted games, I just have an antenna with tuner funneling through Plex.
Woohoo celebrate! Calling into work for bday shenanigans
