    Of course, not everyone is on board with the trend, and some people couldn’t bear the thought of foregoing flavor and variety. But others found a strange sense of comfort in the blandness of these meals, calling it a reflection of their work experience, and a reminder that the office isn’t a place for enjoying life.

      Funny, if you follow the link to the original Chinese story, Chinese people are saying that the rice-heavy box lunch they usually eat makes you logy and tired in the afternoon from all the carbohydrates and spikes your glucose. Meanwhile the white people's food is cheap, healthy and gives you energy all afternoon long. It's good for people who are working out or too lazy to cook. Chinese food is meant to be enjoyed on a big table with family or friends, you can't compare the two. Some of the comments are hilarious though.
