Contrary to all the takes here, I think it's a weirdo online leftist thing to do. Funny as a concept though, for sure.

The reality is that you'd probably just look like a dick. A fair number of Vietnam vets were conscripted, and even the ones that weren't are probably pretty traumatized by the experience.

I know, I know, you shouldn't sympathise too much with someone who was very much in the wrong, who might still be a very racist person, but the way to get through to them and to most normal people around you is just to be a normal chill guy.

Also, practically speaking you'd probably get people confronting you about it, judging you, treating you worse, etc etc. Just an all round silly idea.

It's a bit dw. I am never wearing any political article of clothing in America unless I'm with other people doing the same thing for a good reason

I didn't even shit talk Trump with other strangers when they brought him up when I'm alone

      America is too crazy

I'm pretty sure this is a type of liberalism but too lazy to look up what one (which is also probably a type of liberalism)

My experience wearing any kind of political clothing in the US is like putting a target on yourself for the weirdest people to approach and argue with you
