I am also extremely aware of constant Kremlin propaganda. Propaganda which is spread both in their media, but also crucially in online channels. Propaganda which includes things like downplaying horrifying actions of the soviet union, portraying their "enemies" (the west) in the worst possible light, and mixing in soviet symbolism wherever possible.

Lmao is Putin in the room with you right now

I want to emphasize that Russia is not concerned with Anglo propoganda, they are primarily and only concerned with reaching out to the third world, China, and their own populace. Maybe if you speak Russian or another Slavic language you will receive propoganda, but the amount of propoganda that Russia sends English speakers is negligible and to pretend that it is at all a factor in online English discourse is literally reiterating completely debunked Russia-gate propoganda. You are literally more likely to unknowingly run into Scientology propoganda than you are Russian propaganda. This is the ravings of someone who's so far in the Kool-Aid they are seeing red everywhere.

Go check out this thread: https://hexbear.net/post/337698

Compare some of the (highly upvoted) comments by Hexbear users to Russian media talking points.

      1. Constantly trying to divert the conversation away from the fact that nazis and soviets occupied Estonia for half a century, trying to drive the discussion onto some smaller details
      2. Trying to diminish the number of victims of the occupation
      3. Calling people nazis for condemning the nazi and soviet occupations in Europe
      4. Glorifying occupiers - "heroism of Soviet partisans"

I'm not sure if you've ever watched Russian state tv, but if not, I can assure you that this kind of thing is literally their bread and butter.

Russians also acknowledge that the sky is blue. Are you compelled to believe the opposite lest you fall for scary Russian talking points?

Estonia was a member republic of the USSR. The idea that it was occupied in any way is fascist propaganda, lmao. You're a nazi. Enjoy licking western boots, just remember that when shit hits the fan, they'll boot you out of the white club and into being an "Asiatic" whenever it serves their interest.
