Why do half your criticisms revolve around us disbelieving a single factoid, and that disbelief somehow making us moral failures? And why is the other half mostly complaining about our hostile tones after one of yours posts genuinely uninformed bigotry?
Like, really. From all the railing against Hexbear I've seen, it's either scolding Americans for their passive opinion on a set of completely irrelevant foreign issues related to "_____ denial", or "Youre right but you were mean to Me im telling :(". You never bring any insight on the programs or policies we actually want in our own states, and when you enter those threads you try to draw the conversation back to Chinese and Russian historical atrocities (orthe Uyghur situation which always leads back to ) to call us hypocrites. Im starting to wonder.. do you guys have even a single accusation that doesnt boil down to "Get these subversives OUT at all costs"?!
When a country (for example) sets up forced labor camps for a specific ethnic minority people get pretty touchy about it even if the details are a little murky. Especially if the details are a little murky because the government in question also does its best to prevent anyone from clarifying them.
Earlier today i spent a bunch of time arguing with people from Hexbear about Russia's war in Ukraine, that's another one that looks pretty obvious to people (and imo remains pretty clear cut after investigation).
I guess putting it another way, it keeps coming back to that because Russia and China fucking suck. They don't uniquely suck and they don't even suck particularly worse than anyone else--though i very much do not want to live in either country right now.
What isn't true, however, is the narrative that they're the last lights in the world opposing capitalism and the West and being unfairly targeted by some apocalyptic CIA plot, or whatever. In this aforementioned argument, they claimed everything was a fucking CIA plot and that just isn't the reality. Yeah I'm sure the CIA would love to knock over Putin and install a pro-American toady in Russia but their actual influence over the situation in Ukraine is tiny compared to the local players.
There's also the fact that people just aren't used to taking a nuanced view of either China or Russia and the formal education in the West is super biased even if it does give people factual information. What's needed to overcome that is not bias in the other direction but instead exploration of the nuance. Unfortunately, that's super fucking hard to do...

My guy, Putin is literally in power because the USA already did this to the USSR. The guy we installed handpicked Putin. It's just blowback after blowback and we still can't stop sticking our dicks into every country's business.
..And when you have no defense left, you just use hyperboles. If someone says "this specific thing could be the CIA's fault" and bringing up said thing makes you feel icky icky, you'll go to another thread and say "They think EVERYTHING'S the CIA's fault!" You do this knowingly, on purpose. It's an anger reflex. You desperately need your pointless internet accusation to stick, so you puff up what the leftist/radical said until you can confidently call it false. Liberals who know theyre liberals have a million Alternative ways of framing arguments, so they can warp them into a fake "fact-checking" kind of scrutiny without technically sounding dishonest (doesnt work lol, we read). It's interesting bc it really hints at how your ideology itself is heavily propped up by capital and literally violently obselete.
