Anybody want to commiserate on something that sucks?

I fucking hate my job. It's B2B bullshit that means nothing, my boss is a walking kidney stone who has never once told me 'good job' or given me anything positive in over a year, and I still have no fucking idea what I'm doing. Part of that is because of me, fine, but part of that is because there is literally no training for what we do. Every client wants something different, and if we're working with 3rd party software, I can't be expected to know all of that - ESPECIALLY AN ADOBE PROGRAM PLUS AN EXTRA PLUGIN ON TOP OF IT. When I got hired, I figured I'd be working on our proprietary system, but nope, I'm stuck 'specializing' in this shit. The person who trained me is leaving in 2 weeks, and I'm the only person who can handle the US projects. For a while it felt like they're gearing up to fire me, but I let them know I was diagnosed with a disability + others are leaving + I'm the only US person, so I think that's buying me some time.

Already touched up my resume (yes I lied on it a bit) and have been sending it out. At least the pay is good here, for now.

Man fuck this whole work thing. I can think of so many times where simply saying 'Good job today! You really helped out!' Could've made working noticeably better. Seems these days, the slowing growth in a society that needs rapid growth is really making the niceties go away. And then when people leave because the morale is bad and the pay is worst, out come the think pieces on how nobody wants to work anymore.
