Sometimes I like to cruise the politics sub so I can drive by downvote libs and report them for breaking their precious civility rule, and honestly, I've gotten a decent amount of them banned for it, which is hilarious.

That is all

Isn't that a Trump meme or what?

I've kinda gone back and forth on whether or not it's a useful term.

Chuds do use it. But it's a valid observation, libs tunnel vision on Trump to a huge degree. On the other hand, chuds usually suffer Trans Derangement Syndrome where they're so tunnel visioned on their transphobia they'd vote for politicians who hate them (see: Catholic Latines voting for republicans).

There's a couple of things CHUDs are right about. TDS and you shouldn't trust the media. The last one is for different reasons, but whatchagonnado?

Chuds being right for the wrong reasons, a romdramedy in three parts.

"A small well connected rich and powerful group has unaccountable and unchecked dominion over the rest of us!... but it's not the rich! Saying that would be gommunism vuvulzula!" scared-fash

Too bad those same chuds think Steven crowder is the answer to any criticism of msm.

It's probably worth pointing out that chuds virtually never use it for valid observations, even when they're talking about people who genuinely are hyperfocused on Trump. When I see it used in Fox News comments, it's a near-meaningless term for all Trump criticism

That might be true but what do you expect from Fox News comments yea

Yea they did something halfway clever then drove it into the ground.

It's dumb that libs act like Trump is about to get arrested.

It's also dumb for chyds to act like it's an unnatural obsession for people to get mad when Trump says explicitly fascist shit.

I can see where you're coming from. I probably wouldn't say it outside of hexbear. The explanation of how I'm not a right wing nutjob would eclipse the usefulness of the word. And really, it's probably not worth engaging with people that "have TDS" because you will go nowhere. They have every thought terminating cliche you can think of at the ready.

They invented it but what else do you call it when the front page of r/politics has been half a dozen articles about how Trump is 48 hours away from a jail cell for 6 years.

Blue MAGA is absolutely a thing.

I don't know about that; blue MAGA doesn't actively oppress my trans comrades like red MAGA does...

I'm not saying they're equally fash but there's deffinitly a lot of similarity between the people posting pictures of Trump being a jacked shirtless action movie star and the people talking about bidenomics and using the dark Brandon meme unironically.

Also try criticizing Biden for anything and see how much those libs actually support you, for a lot of minorities the only real difference is when there's a dem president libs tell them to stop complaining because it's making them look bad.

Not sure there's a lot of meaningful difference between the chuds and the libs giddy about the idea of throwing you to the chuds because you said Biden wasn't pro union.

Frankly, there are a lot of liberals that I talk to that are upset with Biden.

            Biden's just not that popular.

Wish I could find the liberals you interact with the ones i talk to write you off as a republican if you say it was bad for Biden to break up the rail strike.

That's a damn shame as I've seen people like that as well.

For myself, I've seen these liberals that I speak of on Reddit (depending on the subreddit) or in real life.

Otherwise, there is a lot of igorance as well but even the one who's just ignorant and not fed with false info will probably nod their heads and agree with you, if given the chance or a long convo; not everyone really keeps up with the news, after all, and I know several that don't get their news from, say, TV, though that last thing is to be expected in 2023 now that we're nearing 2024.
