Nah I haven't seen the movie, though there was a popular racism awareness campaign in South Africa when I was a kid, where'd they do short PSAs/ads with the racial role reversal thing (such as white people working as maids and gardeners, taking minibus taxis, while black people were the rich home owners) to try get racist white people to have some compassion.
Looking at the state of our society, I don't think the awareness campaign worked.
But yeah hexbear is mostly made up of white westerners so they probably didn't take any criticism well.
