Hi JT, love your stuff! As someone who's getting into computer software (still early on), I wanted to ask what you or anyone else think I could do in the field to advance socialist ideals/practices. I want to focus on VR as that's a field I've followed almost my whole life, and I've thought about using VR to maybe educate people on socialist history, like a VR movie about the Russian Revolution or an open-source social VR platform that caters to leftists. Idk though, so I'm here to learn. Thanks for reading!

Edit: Also, idk if you'll ever come back to read this, but I also want to say as someone who has family in the railroad industry, your video on East Palestine is the best coverage I've seen so far. Details on stuff like increased train lengths has been something I've only heard in-person until your vid. Great stuff

There are lots of opportunities in software! One really cool one would be to get into theoretical economic planning models. Check out our Deprogram episode with Tomas Haerdin, it's a fascinating subject

I thought about this too! Here soon I wanna look into Paul Cockshott's works as well, apparently he has some detailed planning models written out too. Thanks for the reply!
