I heard from a Israeli that you get a bonus to welfare if you live in the occupied areas. She was bragging how she saved to travel by moving in with family outside the city and claiming welfare but then just couch surfing at her friends places and working under the table. I'm having a hard time finding any links to back it up but I did find that 20% of Israelis are on welfare.
