    it might be hard to get enough people who know how to run infrastructure but i'd definitely like to try

      I've maintained an SS13 codebase and server before. A couple more people and we could probably even get development of custom stuff going.

          That's great, comrade! Would you happen to have hardware we could run this thing on? I would offer but I have neither stable PC hardware or a stable internet connection atm :(

          We might be able to take this to Hexbear's Matrix server btw. I've not used it but I can set an acct up if that's possible.
