I looked up the AGP in women paper and the methodology is unfortunately poor IMO.
A questionnaire that included the ASW was distributed to a sample of 51 professional women employed at an urban hospital; 29 completed questionnaires were returned for analysis. By the common definition of ever having erotic arousal to the thought or image of oneself as a woman, 93% of the respondents would be classified as autogynephilic.
They needed a bigger sample size than 29 and they didn’t address the self selection bias of the 29 out of 51 respondents.
The conclusions might be right? But they might also be wrong, the paper itself seems pretty flimsy :/

It's even more fucked than the paper you're referring to, but also extremely horny and fetishizing in an incredibly gross way. Blanchard was the pioneer of "let's only give HRT to trans women we want to fuck" school of transmed psychology.
