    OK, so it's "both sides, but actually Israel good and Palestine bad". And the free speech part is worse than I assumed: pro-Palestine college students are anti-Semites, but anti-Semitism should be allowed as free speech galaxy-brain

      On a related note, it's so infuriating that most parts of the US would cry about "my frozen peaches" if you proposed to outlaw support for white supremacy/Nazism, and yet many of those states (including Texas and Florida) have anti-BDS laws. Apparently refusing to buy stuff from an apartheid state is more harmful to Jewish people than having elected officials regularly use racist and anti-Semitic dogwhistles.

      The Jews could rightly claim that Israel existed long before anyone heard of Palestine—and if anyone needs to be driven to the sea it’s the Muslims. Israel won’t do that because they are far more civilized than Hamas.
