But I've seen this posted a couple times and it keeps making me wonder - isn't it much more likely that the causes of any negative cognitive effects the Palestinians are suffering are malnutrition, CPTSD, and disrupted education?

Similar method as nazis pointing out the lice and typhus epidemic in ghettos. Sure there was typhus and lice, it do happens when they lock up way too many people at way too small space and then starve them and deny other necessities like water.
