If you look into it, something like a third of people who fled HK to the UK during the riots can't/couldn't find work, most of them reported experiencing racism, and now the UK government is dragging its feet processing asylum applications that would allow them to stay long term.
Don't have much sympathy for Gusanos, but I do feel bad for people genuinely just seeking an out from instability.
And all the liberals who are all rah rah about balkanization and coups are completely silent about their failed project. It seems like the average westerner cannot focus on two things at once when it becomes too complicated
