Dolores Cacuango, also known as Mamá Doloreyuk, was a leader in the fight for indigenous rights in Ecuador born on this day in 1881. She was active in the Glorious May Revolution of 1944 and co-founded the Indigenous Federation of Ecuador (FEI).
Cacuango was born to enslaved people in San Pablourco who worked the Pesillo Hacienda near Cayambe without being paid. She had no access to education due to her lack of resources, and learned Spanish while working as a housemaid.
In 1930, Cacuango was among the leaders of the historic workers' strike at the Pesillo hacienda in Cayambe, which was a milestone for indigenous and peasant rights. During the Glorious May Revolution in Ecuador, Cacuango personally led an assault on a government military base.
The same year, with the help of Ecuador's Communist Party, Cacuango co-founded the Indigenous Federation of Ecuador (FEI), an early group in the fight for indigenous rights. She also helped establish some of the first bilingual indigenous schools.

OK i won. One of my engis suffocated because I was too busy focusing on the enemy ship. I also forgot to set my crew members up for mind control for phase 3 and so my pilot got mind controlled. Thankfully I had bought two crew members in sector 7 so I was able to protect the system.

Did you max out your crew? Always find an early ship thst can't possibly hurt you to max your pilot and engine guy specially. If you can blast an ion or something harmless on auto upgrading your weapons guy is great too. Shield guy is eh. I just get into a stalemate early on and go have a smoke. I've never found upgrading hacking or cloak to lv3 to be useful and generally just take lv2 if I have the spare scrap as a damage buffer. I'm seeing a backup battery as well as a full weapons and stuff so I guess power wasn't an issue by then. Double halberd is a fun situation to be in. If you draw your line from shields to missiles at the start the combined power should punch through the shields so you wouldn't need to use the laser for it.
