I have recently been going down the randonautica rabbit hole of creepy shit, and I'm reaching the paranoia conspiracy that this is a human trafficking tool of some sort. The stories just creep me out

Anyone have an experience with this geocaching experience?

Never heard of this, but reminds me of 'derive' aka 'drift' that was a big concept of Guy Debord which comes from earlier 'flâneur' concept.

Guessing this has some algorithmic aspects layered in, but I'll have to learn more.

I'm doing more research and finding it's possible it's just coincidences with many people going to these possible locations, but the real strange one definitely are scary to read about

the focus on randomness/RNG reminds me of this global consciousness project that's been going on for years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Consciousness_Project

very woo statistical analysis in the random data type stuff in my opinion, but still kinda interesting
