"Apple & ginger" "Spicy apple"

Why would you try to emulate traditional hot winter drinks in the medium of soda, which is always served cold? That's just a fundamental disconnect right there

It's like five cents of sugar water, it just has to get enough people to be like "I wonder if this is good" to buy it

I mean, Coca-Cola keeps coming out with flavors that they don't even say what they actually are

"Dreams", "Levelling Up", "Future", they're all terrible and I keep getting a bottle to see how terrible because I am a garbage monster who would probably buy a bottle of ginger apple soda pain

Locally, both Pepsi and Coke have both gone bananas with seemingly endless new sugar-free flavours recently and all of them are terrible

They're not named like perfumes though, just Pepsi Max Ginger or whatever

Out of the literal dozen flavors they've come out with here, only Pepsi Mango has tasted good

And that's mainly because it tastes nothing like Pepsi and more like a fizzy mango tea

Much better than Pepsi's other flavor outings, like marshmallow or salted caramel

What really hurts them is that they only do these flavours for the aspartame versions which already taste weird and bad

I’m happy to inform you that we now have a new AI-generated Coke flavor in stores! Thank St. Friedman for our capitalist overlords’ gifts.

I've not seen many of those lately, MtnDew seems to be flying off the handle around me. I have a hunch it's in response to supply chain instabilities. They want to avoid ever having all those empty shelves out there losing revenue so they're getting people used to drinking whatever soda-mcrib ingredients the market makes most available to them for cheapest.
