How would you translate "agender", "genderqueer" and "non-binary" into arabic in a respectful, correct way? I am using 3âbir for "trans", bc it fits the colloquial tone of the text I am trans-lating but I am stumped on these ones

    It gives Arabic terms for genderqueer and nonbinary. I don't speak Arabic though, so I can't vouch for whether these are terms that enbie Arabs would actually use.

      I speak Arabic and those translations are adequate enough. These terms are so hard to translate, though. "Queer" is basically left as queer but just transliterated and changed in form. I have to say that I've never heard anyone using the terms before, most activists in my country at least tend to keep the English or use French. The Arabic translations are fine but they are a bit too clunky when spoken.

        I used them. No further feedback, but I think it did the job. I thought they were not perfect as well, but I am in no position to make suggestions on what words people should use to describe their identity
