    This shit almost killed me back in the day. It isn't even remotely fun. Like, they found it at the point where I was on the verge of cirrhosis.

      literally same; they caught it in my early 20's. never really had a "come to Jesus" moment about drinking/drug usage, but when i got on decent meds, i didn't need to self-medicate as much.
