my boss said he doesn't personally post here but some others might. and my boss thinks it's cool that I'm a leftist, he's one too, apparently, and that a bunch of our coworkers are leftists. some of them might post here?? it's a finance firm -- the last place I'd expect this. how the fuck do they have a positive opinion of this place??

YOU HAVE TO TELL ME IF YOU POST HERE AND WHAT YOUR @ IS. THIS IS SO UNFAIR LEAVING ME ON THE HOOK LIKE THIS. DON'T MAKE ME POST PPB TO THE WORK SLACK AND SEE WHO LAUGHS.

(I use tree style tabs so they can read my tabs when I share my screen -- I didn't hide this place because who the fuck has heard of hexbear)

Why did you tell your boss you are a leftist btw? I had a coworker like you who tried to talk to the HR manager about communism for some reason, that's how I found out.

Was not interested in any of my Samir Amin type shit of course but that's just the way the cookie crumbles

Are you going to debate your finance boss into unionizing your finance job? :-)

It’s ok if I have an elaborate plot I daydream about of how I will embezzle the corporation and send the money to Cuba

            Leftists work at Goldman Sachs????

I spent 3 years working for a large bank doing appsec. I'm not proud of it, but I was the lowest performer aside from the guy who literally didn't show up at all, and I got a real nice severance package when they laid me off (other guy got laid off that day too). I highly recommend it. Don't work too hard. That whole team got replaced with outsourced labor, for the most part, aside from a few AI weirdos who probably got jobs on another team there.

I'm probably thinking of a completely irrelevant connection anyways (with the old admin who claimed worked in finance)

they're probably some dbzer0 dweeb or something

I vaguely remember what you're talking about. in this case the world isn't quite that small and I still need to figure out their @s, unless that person jumped ships from Goldman to my firm.

It was abt an anonymous minor writing a letter saying one of the admins had been trying to groom her with omaha steaks & people split into "this maybe a prank there is zero followup" and "that guy's annoying and i believe it"

Half of hexbear on January 6th desperately needed to play the TrueAnon board game of January 6th to gain some perspective on the seriousness of the “insurrection”

          There was a (1/20) * (1/20) * (1/20) * (1/20) * (1/20) * (1/20) * (1/20) chance of it working. In another save file we formed a union at that place.

It would be quite hilarious for a committed ML to infiltrate HR at a large company and just hyperdrive unionisation as a bit.
