Except for the Northrup Grumman part, basically me. I literally won't hurt a fly, and I won't even put indoor spiders outside (they die real quick out there). The only real justification for hurting someone is in self-defense, but repellents mostly keep that from being an issue with animals.
Also, I prefer to avoid justifying it with "soul" or whatever, because then people will argue that everything has a soul.
