I actually work with a millennial Disney adult Taylor swift fan. So I guess you’re onto something. I’m sure it will surprise you to learn that she’s also pretty into Harry Potter.

Definitely a lot of them but there's an equal and opposite amount of teen girls who'll tell you they just fucking hate her, probably because liking her makes you basic and that's like the biggest crime in a lot of gen z

Teenagers are into her? Nice. If any kid gives me shit now I'll point out I'm 2 years younger than her.

She's pretty average music-wise, but got an outsized amount of hate/critique from different groups - People focusing a lot more on her relationships/career than they would for other artists of similar or even much larger sizes. She got kinda buried for a while and her fanbase diminished.
Around the time of #MeToo she saw a renaissance where people started to notice how she had been treated in the past. This then led to her fans being very vocally defensive of her, which has led to that fanbase becoming very visible and also growing. Sort of like a tumor that's gone to a women's studies class. They do have something of a point though. Taylor sucks, but she still gets way more critique than most other artists do. The private jet is a neat example - she is the person who uses them most and that is reprehensible, but why is it only now that people give a shit about that, and why is it only Taylor? There's probably much better examples, but I don't really follow swift-lore so I don't know of any others.
