Remember when trump was in office and his supporters kept whinging about Hillary? A person who was not the president? Remember how we mocked them for it?

You're doing the same now for Biden. Trump is not the president, Biden is.

He is a presumptive serious candidate for the office of the presidency. His advocacy for WW3 should be major disqualifying news, but people don't even seem upset about it. "Hah, hah, he still says stupid shit." Hillary was no longer relevant in any meaningful way. I think worrying about someone who may once again be president in 11 months is fundamentally different than worrying about a failed candidate whom everyone knew would never be important again.

I actually completely agree with you that the Hilary comparison is unfair and that Trump as a viable candidate (who really is probably going to win) is relevant and worth being concerned about. Discussing Trump and what he says now is completely different than whinging about Hilary was this far into Trump's presidency, you are right.

But if you want to talk about "advocacy for WWIII," then Biden has done far more to get us closer to that brink than Trump ever did. It's ridiculous to be worried about Trump saying something asinine in his usual predictable, petty way while Biden is right now trying to get another round of billions of dollars through to nazis and continuing to escalate an unwinnable war that he and his administration have been escalating all along. Also while he's directly backing an ongoing genocide and giving even more money, weapons, and general support to the direct perpetrators. Right now. If you're worried about a third World War, you should be just as, if not more worried about Biden than you are about Trump.
