I finally got a response from a trans advocacy group, with an emphasis on BIPOC trans people, living in my (unfortunate) state of Florida. They said they're going to help me get connected with resources and mutual aid soon, and I'm really excited because I've been struggling. I also joined their Discord server. This was the kind of hope I've been needing as of late.

is your goal to gtfo of florida? I've already met one person who did just that in the past year, and I'm across the country + practically a shut in when it comes to meeting new people. I'd contribute to that however I can!
Yeah, my goal is to GTFO of Florida, but that's slightly more long-term. Right now, I just want to be stable in Florida and work towards keeping my housing in the midst of dealing with the horrors of transphobia and capitalism. Once I get back to working and have more money in my pocket, moving out of Florida will definitely be on the immediate agenda.
