I don’t think so. You would be surprised how many people are genuinely brain dead and try to please their god without even checking whether they’re being blasphemous. For example, I knew a catholic who seemingly got traumatized during the passion of Christ and kissed the speaker of the TV (they had those large TVs with built in speakers at the bottom).
