I find it strange that we consider them invasive. If an animal flies from one part of the country to another and sets up shop, that seems like a pretty natural process that shouldn't be interfered with to me (unless maybe a huge truckload of owls was brought out West which started the whole thing I guess).
Maybe it's more about protecting an endangered owl than the actual invasiveness. Idk, sometimes natural processes fucking sucks. Anyway, humans are a part of nature so if we help out a struggling species, is that not a natural process?
