Honestly the doohickey/old-fashioned nerf guns were always the coolest. Revolver style nerf maverick went hard. Only problem is you'd usually only see the knockoff brands get the weirder stuff, so the double barrel shotgun (with shells that popped out!! Baller) and lever action repeater ones I had were always piddly compared to the nerf offerings
