Been trying to make federation work for a while now but none of the posts even show up. I went out of my way to follow all the comms and pretty much every user I see. Would this just be the kind of thing I need to do as an instance owner to make it click the way Lemmy-Lemmy federation does? @badposting@hexbear.net
Tagging a community (like you just did with badposting in your post) makes it so your post ends up in that community. You can see the lemmy end of things here.
@disposable_cracker@hexbear.net Thanks for the info. I already have that (good to clarify a bit though so ty) tho I was asking about why nothing shows up on the microblog frontend and if it's less cruddy if I like, set myself up as a FireFish admin and target you with the main cannon
