im not like a anti-restaurant leftist but the concept of places that assemble food so simple you watch them do it in a minute is absurdist shit
restaurants need to actually cook things
actually the division of labour is a good thing, and you probably couldn't make a decent sandwich nearly as quickly as someone who makes 50 of them per hour using dedicated equipment
I definitely make sandwiches better and faster than my local sandwich wage slaves but it's not it's not like that's their fault or anything. They've got a backlog of assholes' sandwiches to make. Also I don't expect workers to bend over backwards to make my treats fast that's not why I would buy a sandwich and it's class traitor behavior to blame them rather than staffing issues i.e. the man.
