I have really prominent tics like that - a jolt moving through my neck and shoulder forcing me to twitch. Don't think it's necessarily a seizure though, sometimes a tic is just a tic. Are you mentally all present during and immediately after?
Yeah "grand mal" seizures involve your consciousness going away for the duration. What you're describing is just like what neurotypicals (and all people with a sense of touch) experience when touching a hot stove. So the difference is that you have more sensations that qualify for the "hot stove" category.
